Super Powered X-Ray Vision by Biagio Fasano (B. Magic)
Promo price valid until end of March, 2024: $ 4.90 instead of $9.90
The title suggests the idea behind this impromptu effect of mentalism in which, by letting a spectator (even from home) simply use four or five playing cards and two or three of his/her coins, the illusionist is allowed to perform an impromptu effect at a distance, even over the phone, or in the presence but with eyes closed (while blindfolded, without any trick, or otherwise remaining turned to one side for the entire duration of the experiment).
The spectator will initially take the four aces and any two coins, which she can freely hide under two of the face-up cards she has arranged in a row on the table.
The illusionist, without having seen the placement of the coins and after requiring only a couple of switches, will be able to correctly identify which cards are hiding the two coins.
Having successfully completed this first experiment, a fifth card is introduced: the Joker (or a black Jack, failing that) and a third coin. Having the spectator freely arrange each of the three coins under a different one among the five cards she has at her disposal, after another couple of simple switches, again the illusionist will be able to identify "blindly" the three cards hiding the relevant coins.
No preparation, completely impromptu and performable remotely or even on the phone with any spectator.
