PREDICTION
The performer has a blue backed deck in play. He then introduces a prediction card, it comes from a contrasting colored deck of cards such as red. This red backed card is placed face down on the tabletop.
The blue backed deck is shuffled thoroughly. The deck is cut into two halves. The spectator is asked to eliminate one of the halves. The chosen packet is removed and placed aside. This is repeated with the packet being cut into halves and one packet being eliminated until only a few cards remain. These cards are spread on the table top. The spectator is asked to pick one of these cards. The conditions are as fair as could possibly be. However despite these conditions the prediction card is found to match the selection.
VANISH
A red backed card is chosen and placed in the centre of four blue backed cards. The cards are counted and the red backed card stands out boldly in the centre. The magician snaps his fingers and when the cards are counted the red card is seen to have vanished. The card is discovered in the magicians pocket. No palming is required for this effect.
CHANGE
The performer removes the four kings from the deck. He shows the back of each card to be blue. With a snap of the fingers the cards are seen to have changed to red. With one further snap of the fingers the entire deck is seen to have changed to match the red kings.
