Secret Files by Vladimir Zyuzin
Very rare and expensive ebook featuring a fantastic “Day at Any Date” routine, which is even more comprehensive than The Rainman Algorhithm.
Fond Memories
The performer talks about memories and how they affect our lives and impact our future. Memories are sacred to each individual and no two people share the same exact experiences. The performer asks a lady to think of three memories and choose one in her mind and experience that memory in real time, as the performer tries to tune in to her thoughts. He then describes her memory and her exact thoughts and feelings.
A Day for any Date Improved
The routine, or rather the methodology, that follows has been very near and dear to me for the past couple of years. I’ve always been fascinated with impromptu demonstrations of extreme mental skill, and have always practiced and employed the amazing memory demonstration, quick mental calculations, and most recently, the day for any date demonstration. There are many reasons why I love this premise, the effect is quick, impressive, and can be performed virtually anywhere. Wherever there is a calendar, be it a real calendar or a cell phone calendar, you can perform this effect.
Review:
“Let me chime in here as I also got an early copy of this from Vlad (OttoeMezzo) and I will totally agree with Nicolino. The Day at Any Date is definitely worth getting. I even suggested he sell it separately. In the early draft, there was a spot or two that I felt needed some clarification. I’m assuming that such changes have been made.
The “Fond Memories” effect, though, is by far the stronger effect. It is also not something for the beginner. There are none of the usual mentalism gimmicks involved. One could argue that none of the usual mentalism principles are used, either. I can’t say anything more except that it is impromptu and does require some practice.
If you want to learn a method for Day at Any Date, or want to learn an easier method, then you want this. If the description of these effects intrigues you, then you shouldn’t be disappointed with this e-book at all.”
