A spectator freely selects a number between 15 and 40. A number of cards relating to the named number is counted off from the top of a packet and used to form two piles, one for the performer and one for the spectator. The unused cards are ribbon spread showing a random mix of cards. Attention is then drawn to a prediction card which has been tabled throughout. The prediction accurately reveals the colour relating to the top card of each pile with an added kicker being that the landed on card proves to be the only card of that colour in each respective pile.
The routine is self-working with the spectator handling the cards throughout.
