Dan Turcotte - Mind Reading With Cards
Basic Effect:
Walk up to a spectator and hand the person a deck of cards. Ask them to shuffle the cards as much as they want and to then remove about a 1/4 of the deck and to hand the face down cards to you. Hold the fan of cards towards the spectator and turn your head away so you can't see where the spectator is looking. Ask the spectator to remember any single card and a number. Once the spectator has a card memorized, you put the packet behind your back. You then proceed to put one face down card into your right pocket. Ask the spectator only one question. Reach into your right pocket and take out their card. Snap your fingers and the card flies back into your pocket again. The spectator reaches inside your pocket, and takes the card out for a second time. The baffled spectator is left with no way to figure it out!
