Tired of ho-hum card discoveries? Imagine this...after showing all of the cards different, a spectator merely peeks at a card in the middle of the deck. The top and bottom cards are now shown to confirm they are not the spectator’s card and the face up pack is fairly secured with two criss-crossed rubber bands. You ask the spectator what card he chose. He names it and you say, “Watch!” You cover the deck with a handkerchief for an instant, before whisking it away to reveal the face card of the bound deck is now his card. The change literally happens in a flash! The rubber bands are removed and the selected card is immediately tossed out for examination. Only one deck is used, no sleights, no suspicious moves, no flap card, and it's easy to do.
