Michael Weber – Changing the Present
As you give your friend a present for the holidays, you notice that a section of the gift wrap is torn, exposing the gift inside. “Sorry about that. I hope that didn’t ruin the surprise now that you’ve seen what I got for you” you say. Your friend tries to feign graciousness but can’t cover the look of disappointment on his face. Invoking a bit of functional magic, you wave your hand over the tear in the wrapping paper, pressing the ripped piece flat. You lift your hand, revealing that the tear is now completely restored. Not only have you fixed the rip, but when your friend opens his gift, he will be surprised to discover that you magically transformed the gift inside as well.
