About author Jimmy Vee
Jimmy got his first ventriloquist puppet from his grandmother when he was eight years old and has been talking to himself ever since. He's preformed both magic and ventriloquism at birthday parties, libraries, community events, family shows, corporate events, trade shows and comedy clubs.
He's the founder of the Florida Ventriloquist Association, the assistant director for the Vent Haven International Ventriloquist Convention and is on the board of advisors for Vent Haven Museum. He's also a member of the IBM, SAM and the Academy Of Magical Arts.
Known around the world as the Five-Foot-High Marketing Guy, Jimmy is living proof that big things really do come in small packages. He is a savvy CEO, a huggable husband, a funny father, an acclaimed author, a creative copywriter, a tone-deaf trumpeter, a miniature magician, a corny comedian, and a verbose ventriloquist.

Reviews:
"This book is incredible. I absolutely LOVE it. I think it can easily be a huge influence on the next generation of vents. Great job."
- Terry Fator, America's Got Talent Winner, Las Vegas Headliner, Ventriloquist
"Most 'how to books' are heavy with the written word instructions. Being dyslexic, reading is not one of my strong points... but that has never affected my ability as a ventriloquist. Thank you, Jimmy Vee, for creating an instruction book for ventriloquists that is illustrated with such clear drawings. It becomes much more accessible for those of us who are reading challenged. I might say... 'a Vent book for the rest of us'."
- Jay Johnson, Tony Award® Winner - writer and ventriloquist
"I love this book, It's great. So easy to understand for kids and adults too!"
- Celia Munoz, Winner of Spain's Got Talent, America's Got Talent Finalist, Ventriloquist
"Without a doubt this is one of the best beginners' books on ventriloquism I have ever read. I wish I had something like this when I was learning vent, it would have saved me a lot of time."
- Jack Williams, America's Got Talent Top 5 Semi-Finalist, Social Media Influencer, Ventriloquist
