*A Note about the stock we have: These copies are the last of the First Editions, they have been sitting in a carton in the Magic Methods warehouse for some 40+ years. While the pages are all nice and crisp the hot stamped title on the textured hard cover does show some fading from age, this is to be expected from a books this old. As someone that was around when Jerry first printed this book I can tell you that the stamped cover was not that great on the new copies back then either. For some reason the ink hot stamped on the textured cover didn’t adhere well.
I was just 13 years old when Jerry wrote and printed this title. I had first meet Jerry when I was 10. (Who knew I’d own and be running the company one day) I remember us talking about Fechter, this book and I not knowing anything about dice or what holding them out was. I was fortunate in that Jerry had booked Eddie Fechter to appear at the Greenville, SC Close-up Convention and I got to meet a famous magician named “Eddie” although we spell our names different. And well..that was a life changing event and …. Boy did he fool me badly! I got to see the master stack the dice and do all the card routines he was famous for. Seeing Eddie’s big fingers and tattooed arms perform some of the most amazing and entertaining magic ever!
