Direct Mind-Reading by Trevor H Hall

The effect aimed at in this problem is the location of a card mentally selected by a spectator in a wide fan of the whole pack. He is not asked to write it down or touch it or whisper its name to anyone else and, in fact, he merely thinks of it. Its name is then revealed directly by the performer.
