1) The 8 of Diamonds being selected in both demo's is merely a coincidence; there is no force involved with this control.
2) Because I did not use any editing in the demo, here is an important note from the instructions for this control. "It’s very important to do the “move” while the spectator is signing their card or showing it around. I do not recommend doing the move while the spectator is looking at the fanned out deck.
