The magician has three audience members sit on three covered stools. They then each select a random paint sample from a ziplock bag. The first and second spectators are revealed to be sitting on stools that match the color they chose. Finally, the third spectator “messes up” by selecting a clear coat color. The magician then whips away the sheet to reveal the stool they have been sitting on the entire time is INVISIBLE.
There are two options available for this routine:
1. $5,000 USD version which includes:
– worldwide live and television performance rights
– detailed in depth instructional video explaining every step of the routine
– four pocket “Fource Bag” to force the colors
– detailed photos of the illusion prop with dimensions so you can hire a builder to build you your own prop
2. $10,000 version which includes:
– everything the $5,000 version includes
– one stool gimmick
– grey bed sheets
– two regular stools that would be painted by me and that are designed to fit inside a portable case.
– one pelican air case perfect to contain the entire illusion and perfect to travel on a plane with.
Shipping not included. I would work with you to pick the best shipping option for the finished set.
Just to give you more of an idea as to what the gimmick is without sharing too much… It is made of aluminum and very lightweight. It is about the size of a stool and weighs about 7lbs. There is no base plate that it clicks into, it is all self contained. The entire gimmick when folded up will fit into a standard size back back. You need to preset the stool out of view of the audience, or you can preset it before you perform and slide it out into position in front of the audience. At the end of the routine, everything is in one big pile, the three sheets and the gimmick so it is very easy to strike in front of the audience as the entire gimmick is concealed inside the pile of sheets. I have found that different people have been able to get the stool built by a welder or magic builder for a wide range of costs. This all depends on the builder.
If you have your own builder, I would recommend going with option 1. If you would like the trick to just show up ready to go I recommend option 2.
