1HPD: The One Handed Poker Deal by Erik Ostresh
A deft display of card control with just one hand!
You demonstrate your skill with cards by shuffling, cutting, and dealing your spectator a four of a kind, all with one hand. As a kicker ending, you reveal you dealt yourself the 4 aces!
1HPD covers all the essentials you will need to learn to manipulate your cards with just one hand. One handed cuts and deals are described, but this download contains in depth training on the one handed shuffle and how to use it to control certain cards. Learning 1HPD will immediately establish your skill with a deck of cards.
BONUS: Erik goes into detail on how to make multiple hold-outs for even cleaner handlings!
"Erik is a fantastic teacher. This is one of the best resources for learning a one-handed shuffle (and a great routine to go with it!)." -Chris Beason
"This is a routine that you can tell has been worked in the trenches for years. Erik's one handed poker deal is fun, fancy, and flippin' awesome!" - Josh Janousky
Note from Erik regarding hand size:
Many people shy away from the one handed shuffle because they think their hand is too small. I won't lie and say that doing it with small hands is exactly the same as with large hands, but with practice, the move is definitely still possible! My Pinky is 2 and 3/8th (60 mm) from base to tip, and my thumb is about the same. A quick test to see if you are ready is to place two card boxes side by side on a table. If you can stretch your fingers just enough to pick up both, you can definitely do the move. If it's close, you can likely build your way up to it.
